Surface roughness of Ti6Al4V samples produced by laser powder bed fusion for bone implants

چکیده

This study describes the surface roughness of heat-treated Ti6Al4V ELI samples without finishing (as-built condition) depending on position build plate. Surface was studied at top and side surfaces horizontal vertical using a profilometer Scanning Electron Microscopy. Morphology tested is shown. It shown that had different morphologies, but they fairly close values, since formation mainly associated with sticking powder material both upper surfaces. found were far away from argon inlet recoater start line higher roughness.
